Southeast Missouri - May 14-16, 2009
This section contains information and photos from the second in-state birding trip for the "Wagtail Senior Birding Club". The trip took place May 14-16, 2009 to Southeast Missouri. Our itinerary:
May 14 - "Yours Truly", Elliot Glassman, Gerri Hirst, Bob Larson & Dave Pierce drive in two vehicles from St. Louis, Missouri to Southeast Missouri - Bird on the way to Dexter, including Duck Creek Conservation Area & Mingo National Wildlife Refuge. Stay overnight in Dexter, Missouri;
May 15 - Bird at Otter Slough Conservation Area and Dexter Rice Fields. "Yours Truly" and Bob Larson stay overnight in Dexter, Missouri - the rest return to St. Louis;
May 16 - Bird at Mingo NWR and on return drive to St. Louis.
