Kansas Birding Trip - 2008

This page contains information and photos from the fifth out-of-state birding trip for the "Wagtail Senior Birding Club". The trip took place May 1-4, 2008 to Cheyenne Bottoms/Quivira NWR, Kansas. Our itinerary:

May 1 - "Yours Truly" , Dency Kahn, Gerri Hirst and Dave Pierce drive from St. Louis, Missouri to Great Bend Kansas - Bird on way to final destination. Stay overnight in Great Bend, Kansas;

May 2 - Bird at Cheyenne Bottoms and Quivira NWR, stay overnight in Great Bend;

May 3 - Bird at Quivira NWR all day and on drive to Topeka, Kansas - stay overnight in Topeka;

May 4 - Drive back to St. Louis from Topeka. Bird on return trip.
